Apollo Nida has given his first interview since beginning his 8 year prison stint for fraud charges. In the interview he talks about his mistakes and even says that he and Phaedra are cordial and no divorce papers have been drawn yet.
“Yes, we’ve had problems — especially over the last year — but we’ve gotten on terms now where I can call her and it’s cordial,” Apollo exclusively tells ‘In Touch,’ sharing that they speak frequently over the phone. “I’m hopeful that we can stick things out.”
This is a huge difference from Phaedra, who claimed just last week that Apollo was sending her hate letters because she refused to answer his calls.
Apollo also says that Phaedra is considering bringing their sons for a visit, “There’s a plan to get them up here” he shares with In Touch. “I let a lot of people down.I know for a fact that when I get home, I will pick up the pieces.”
As far as whether those pieces involve Phaedra, a rep for Phaedra says the divorce plans are still a go. “While Phaedra and the boys [Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 18 months] do speak with Apollo regularly, there have been absolutely no discussions about reconciling.”
