As the legal battle between Apple and Epic games rages on, the tech giant has officially banned the popular video game from its App Store until the legal fight is resolved.
Epic’s CEO Tim Sweeney shared the news in a series of tweets that revealed that an attempt at an agreement between the two companies unraveled.
Sweeney posted a letter from Apple in which they accused Epic of an “intentional breach of contract” and informed that Fortnite would not be returning to the App Store “until the district court’s judgment becomes final and non-appealable.”
Sweeney explained to his Twitter followers that a final judgment could take some time.
