Apple has suspended sales of all physical products in Russia as they continue their relentless invasion of Ukraine.

The company is cracking down on the country by limiting its access to Apple products and services. They previously pulled several Russian news apps from its App Store and imposed restrictions on Apple Pay in the country.

The move from Apple comes after Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov urged the tech giant to prohibit Russia from having wide access to its products. In the open letter, Fedorov says that he is “sure that such actions will motivate youth and active population of Russia to proactively stop the disgraceful military aggression.”

Apple has turned off traffic, and live incident reports in Apple Maps in Ukraine as a safety measure, following a similar move by Google Maps.

In their complete statement, the company said they are “deeply concerned” with Russia’s devastating invasion of Ukraine, which has claimed the lives of innocent civilians.

“We are supporting humanitarian efforts, providing aid for the unfolding refugee crisis, and doing all we can to support our teams in the region.”

Apple is just the latest corporation to cut ties with Russia. Dell has suspended sales in both Ukraine and Russia, while Nike has also stopped selling merchandise in Russia. Ford announced on Tuesday that it was suspending joint venture operations in Russia.
