Apple will have to give one of its customers $1,075 because it didn’t provide them with a charger when they purchased their smartphone.

An unnamed Apple customer in Brazil just came up on more than $1,000 after they sued the company for not giving them a charger when they bought their iPhone 13. According to PCMag, the case was settled by Judge Vanderlei Caires Pinheiro, of the 6th Court of Goiânia.

In his ruling, he decided that the customer not receiving a charger went against article 39 of the Consumer Code, which states “tie sales” are allowed. A tie sale involves a product being sold without another product that is needed to make the other operate.

The price of the phone starts at $1,630. The customer ended up being rewarded $5,000 Brazilian Real, which comes out to about $1,075.

There are no details about whether Apple plans to fight back against the ruling.
