Ari Fletcher is clapping back after a critic on X accused her of skipping Halloween with her son Yosohn to follow Moneybagg Yo around New York City.
It started when Wave Checkers posted a video of Moneybagg Yo and Ari out together in NYC for Halloween. The clip caught the attention of @ibeystannin, a fan account that goes by “Cardii’s Cousin” on X, who quoted the post and tagged Ari directly. The user asked if she could “atleast take Yoshon trick or treating before you run behind your pimp everywhere,” misspelling Yosohn’s name in the process. Another user, @Courtney25marie, jumped in and called the whole situation sad.
Ari Fletcher was not having it. She replied that she was in New York to pick up $52,000 and saw nothing sad about that. Then she turned the attention to her son.
“Stop worrying about my straight A, overly loved, well taken care of, intelligent and respectful child,” she wrote.
She did not apologize. She did not explain where the money came from. She told the internet exactly how her son is doing and kept it moving.
Yosohn is Ari’s son with Chicago rapper G Herbo, and her parenting has been a target before. In 2022, a Change.org petition calling for Herbo to get full custody circulated after a video showed Yosohn at a celebration, which Ari said was a private party with family and friends. In 2024, when a user on X came for her, Ari Fletcher fired back that her son was very well taken care of, the same point she landed on again this Halloween.
Ari and Moneybagg Yo have been together since 2019, and their relationship has stayed in the public eye ever since, with her role as a mom often pulled into the conversation. This time, she answered with a dollar amount and a report card.
