Ari Fletcher is clapping back at a designer who claimed she ghosted her after agreeing to post a dress on Instagram for promo.
The designer, Gigi Hunter, claims Ari had her make a dress in exchange for social media promo, and instead, the Instagram influencer kept the dress and didn’t keep her end of the bargain up.
This all comes after Ari wore a dress with similar material to the BET Awards which the designer called a “fake knockoff of [her] brand.”
Hunter called out Fletcher on Instagram saying “@therealkylesister had me make her a dress in exchange for a post/tag– she ghosted me and kept the dress only to wear this fake knockoff of my brand LOL.” She also included a text message exchange between the two of them dating back to last May.
Ari caught wind of the designer’s claims and responded saying she and the designer never had an agreement.
“You just offered and I let you send it a dress,” Ari said on Instagram. “I didn’t wear the dress because it’s ugly. I’m not obligated to wear nothing I’m not on contract for. Still stalking me a year later… go work on your craft weirdo.”
