Ari Lennox just revealed to fans on Instagram Live that she recieved an outstanding tax bill from the IRS, and she’s ready to do what it takes to pay up.
“I’m just gonna tell y’all my business,” Ari said with her signature honesty. “I need to pay this IRS.”
She didn’t hold back, jokingly adding, “The strange things I’m finna do for change, just so I can break even. I’m gonna go crazy, and then we start anew.”
While some fans took her comments as a hint that new music might be on the way, Ari quickly shut that down.
Once her IRS debt is cleared, she’s all about saving and retiring. “That is the muthafuckin goal,” she emphasized, making it clear that her focus is on financial freedom.
And for those hoping she might drop an IRS diss track, don’t hold your breath. When asked about the possibility, Ari said, “Absolutely not. They have been gentle with me and didn’t take anything of time. So, I will not be starting a beef with them. We do not have no beef, I am paying them back. Okay? I am paying them, and I’m finna be caught up.”
