CBS 5 in Phoenix is now reporting that the victim has a broken collarbone. According to reports, Washington went to his ex girlfriend’s house to see their 5-month-old daughter.
Court documents says they got into an altercation, and Washington allegedly grabbed her neck and choked her near her apartment. Police reports say they then got into a second fight in the parking lot, where Washington allegedly pushed her to the ground causing his ex to break her collarbone.
CBS 5 tried to speak to the victim, but she stated she could not speak to the media.
Phoenix police released a statement that this actually was not the first altercation between the couple.
“What I understand is with Mr. Washington and the victim, they had some altercations in the past, but failed to report those to police,” said Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos.
