An arrest warrant has been issued for Marilyn Manson over an alleged 2019 assault incident.

On Tuesday, the Gilford Police Department said Manson, 52, is wanted in connection to a misdemeanor assault that allegedly took place in 2019. The incident allegedly occurred at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, where Manson performed a concert on Aug. 18, 2019.

Police said the incident involved a videographer assigned as a New Hampshire company subcontractor to record the concert. The videographer was in the pit area near the stage when the alleged assault happened. “Mr. Warner, his agent and legal counsel have been aware of the warrant for some time, and no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges,” the police department said.

Mason’s attorney, Howard King, called the claim “ludicrous” and said he and Mason, whose real name is Brian Warner, will be working alongside police on the case. The videographer allegedly asked for more than $35,000 after “a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm.”

“After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply,” King said.

Mason is currently dealing with other accusations. Two of his ex-partners, Evan Rachel Wood and Esme Bianco, also accused him of abuse. Mason denies all the allegations made against him, CNBC reports.
