In an upcoming episode of Peace of Mind with Taraji on Facebook Watch, Asian Doll opens about her grief following the sudden passing of her boyfriend, King Von.
In the episode, which will air on January 4, Asian Doll reveals to hosts Taraji P. Henson and Tracie Jade where she was when she found out about the rapper’s death and the backlash she received mourning him on social media.
In the clip posted on Taraji’s Facebook Watch page, Asian says she was contacted by an employee of the hospital’s daughter who let her know King Von had passed. She was initially told he was in critical condition.
“When they were saying he was in critical condition, he had already passed away. Somebody from the hospital had got in contact with me,” Asian says in the clip. “One of the nurse’s daughters, she was crying on the phone…”
King Von was shot and killed outside of a nightclub in Atlanta in November when an altercation between two men turned deadly.
