We’re back with another ‘Ask A Baller’ feature . This time we spoke with actor Lance Gross who is currently out promoting his film “The Last Fall”. It’s only right I asked the object of all of our affection an “Ask A Baller” question.
Question: In your opinion, why do you feel most Ballers go broke? (via OLD $PICE PINE NEEDLE)
Answer: “It’s all in money management, you know what I mean? A lot of these guys they come out of high school or college and they’re getting checks in amounts they’ve never seen before. And it’s all in a lump sum, you know what I mean? So, the first thing most people want to do is buy all of the stuff that they were never able to afford before they got that check. For some people that might be jewelry, cars, houses and all that stuff but they forget about what you gotta give to Uncle Sam, they forget about what you have to give to your Agent, your Managers etc. There’s a lot of people, a long list of people that you gotta pay out. Now you’re only left with less than half. They forget to put money away. I think that’s where the problem is. “
