Billionaire fashion tycoon, Anders Holch Povlsen, who is behind the online clothing retailer Asos, has lost three of his four children in the Sri Lanka terrorist attacks. Povlsen is Denmark’s wealthiest man with a net worth of $7.9B, according to Forbes, and is believed to be the largest landowner in Scotland.

Jesper Stubkier, communications manager for Holch Povlsen’s wholesale clothing business, Bestseller, told the AP, “I can confirm that three children have been killed. We have no further comment, and we ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this time.”

According to The Guardian, Stubkier declined to comment on the identity of the children, and it has not yet been reported which series of blasts Povlsen’s children died in. However, an Instagram account reportedly owned by Povlsen’s oldest daughter posted a picture of her three younger siblings looking out over Sri Lankan waters.

On Easter Sunday, seven suicide bombers killed at least 290 people and wounded about 500 in coordinated attacks on luxury hotels and churches in Sri Lanka. Police have arrested 24 people, although no-one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Authorities believe 36 foreign nationals are among the deceased, with international victims, including at least eight British citizens (including two with joint US citizenship), three Danish citizens, one Portuguese citizen, six Indian nationals, two engineers from Turkey, two Chinese nationals, two Australians, one person from the Netherlands and one person from Japan, according to various government sources.

Many prayers and condolences to the Povlsen Family and all of those affected by the attacks in Sri Lanka ??
