Aubrey O’Day Alleges Diddy Tried to Purchase Her Silence with Publishing Rights

In a striking revelation, Aubrey O’Day claims that Diddy attempted to buy her silence by returning the publishing rights to her and other former Bad Boy artists, a gesture she believes was not as generous as it appeared. Speaking as part of a new TMZ documentary, “The Downfall of Diddy,” set to air on Tubi, the Danity Kane singer shared her perspective on a deal that came with significant caveats.

According to O’Day, the offer to return publishing rights, announced last year by Diddy as a rightful and noble gesture, was tied to an agreement that would require the artists to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). O’Day argues that these NDAs were designed to prevent the artists from openly discussing their experiences with Bad Boy Records. She expressed her refusal to sign, valuing her freedom to speak out, especially amid ongoing allegations against Diddy by others, including Cassie—allegations Diddy has denied.

Further complicating the matter, O’Day highlighted that the financial compensation associated with regaining her publishing rights was insultingly low. Despite this, she has chosen to focus on her various business endeavors, including a thriving presence on OnlyFans, which she notes is far more lucrative than the deal Diddy proposed.
