Former President Donald Trump recently drew attention with a stunt where he posed as a McDonald’s employee, taking on the role of a fry cook during a Pennsylvania stop. While reactions to the staged appearance varied, one New York man saw a chance to capitalize on the moment.

Shortly after Trump’s brief “shift,” the man listed a batch of “authenticated” McDonald’s fries allegedly touched by Trump on Facebook Marketplace, with a price tag of $10,000. The listing claimed the fries were “brand new and untainted,” handled with gloves “to maintain quality.” Adding humor to the post, the seller noted that “sauce, napkins, and bag sold separately.” He made it clear he wasn’t open to “low-ball offers,” saying, “I know what I’ve got is of high value.”

Trump’s appearance was reportedly a playful jab at Vice President Kamala Harris, who once mentioned her own short stint at McDonald’s back in 1983. Trump took the opportunity to mock her statement, posting, “WHEN I’M PRESIDENT THE MCDONALD’S ICE CREAM MACHINES WILL WORK GREAT AGAIN!” on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Beyond the fry auction, Trump’s McDonald’s stop has inspired a new line of “MAGADonald’s” merchandise. For $35, fans can purchase a limited-edition T-shirt featuring an image of Trump at the McDonald’s drive-thru, with “MAGADonald’s” printed in bold red and gold letters, appealing to “True Trump Patriots.”
