London police say a man has been charged with the murder of rapper TM1way, the brother of 21 Savage.
TM1way, whose real name was Terrell Davis, was stabbed in Ramilles Close in Brixton Hill, South London, on November 22 just before 6 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police. Reports say the 27 year old was visiting his grandmother when he ran into an acquaintance. Emergency crews could not save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Sunday, the Met said detectives had charged Tyrece, 21, with his murder. He is due to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court on Monday. A charge is not a finding of guilt.
A police spokesperson said last week that Terrell’s family is distraught and is being supported by specially trained officers as they grieve.
21 Savage paid tribute to his younger brother on Instagram with a photo of the two of them. In the caption he wrote that he could not believe someone took his baby brother and shared his regrets over words they had exchanged.
