Baby Blue of Pretty Ricky is pushing back after becoming the topic of a harsh body-shaming campaign online. The criticism started circulating after clips from The Millennium Tour Presents: The Boys 4 Life Tour spread across social media, where viewers began joking about the singer’s physique during performances.

The tour features headliners B2K and Bow Wow, while Pretty Ricky, Waka Flocka, Yung Joc, Crime Mob, and Amerie also perform throughout the multi-city run. Fans have been sharing concert clips across TikTok, though some viewers focused less on the music and more on Baby Blue’s body, which quickly turned into a wave of jokes and commentary.

Baby Blue addressed the criticism directly in a video message posted online. He made it clear that he is not bothered by the backlash while he continues touring and performing for fans across the country.

“Y’all can’t be body shaming n***as now. You feel me? I’m up here. Multi-platinum n***a. Getting that bread on stage,” the former “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” alum said in the video.

He also pushed back on the idea that entertainers must always look gym-ready. According to Baby Blue, his physique is reminiscent of countless men his age and older, which his fans should be accustomed to seeing.

“But guess what? I look like what your daddy look like. I look like what your stepdaddy look like,” he added. “This what n***as who getting money look like.”

Baby Blue also made it clear that his priorities right now are performing and earning a living, not necessarily putting in a workout.

“Going in the gym, that’s cool when a n***a feel like doing it. But right now I’m on the road getting this money,” he said before ending the video with a blunt message for critics still making him the butt of the joke.
