While running the Hair contest a couple of weeks ago I realized that a lot of you guys sent in really great beauty advice. I couldn’t save it all for myself so I wanted to share with all of you. Especially with the crazy weather we’re having, it’s important to find ways to keep yourself looking good. This next tip is from Siren.
“Pre-Poo” To Add Moisture To Hair
My beauty tip is I always “pre poo” my hair before washing. I use a combination of coconut, olive, & castor oils before I wash my hair to add in much needed moisture.
I leave this concoction on for a minimum of 30 minutes (covering with a processing cap), sometimes longer before washing my hair. It gives my hair added shine.
I often mix other oils & Shea or mango butter depending what I have in my stash. This tip helped me to transition from relaxed to natural with minimal breakage and has left my hair healthier than it has been in years. I need to win this hair so I can have protective style for my hair for these cold winter months!
