50 Cent is determined to make things right with the autistic teenager he made fun of on social media.

You may recall, 50 Cent came under fire when he mocked 19 year old Andrew Farrell, who was working as a janitor at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport. According to 50’s video, the teen seemed  “high as a motherf—-r” because he was ignoring his remarks. What 50 did not realize is that Farrell was autistic and had trouble communicating.

50 recently apologized to Farrell publicly, calling the situation an “unfortunate misunderstanding.” As 50 continues to make up for his mistake, he’s decided to donate $100k to the organization Autism Speaks.

Originally Farrell’s family asked that 50 donate $10k to the autism advocacy group but 50 clearly went above and beyond. He is also calling for other celebrities to do the same. “I am calling on my fellow musicians, actors, entertainers and all others who may not have fully considered this cause to join together to help in any way they can.”
