Nicki Minaj told police a man hit her in the mouth during an argument at a Dallas hotel.
According to TMZ, Nicki was at the pool at the Palomar Hotel when she got into a heated argument with a man she was staying with. She asked a hotel employee to call police while the man went up to their room, and she followed him.
When police and paramedics arrived, Nicki told them the argument continued in the room and the man hit her in her lower lip. He had already left by the time officers got there.
Nicki told police she did not want to press charges and said she was not in a relationship with the man. An incident report was taken, but no charges will be filed at her request. The man has not been identified.
Nicki’s rep has not commented.
Whoever it was, no man should be putting his hands on a woman. We’re glad Nicki is okay.
