Ballerific TV: Artists We'd Love To See Do Reality Television

Reality television is filled with vibrant characters who share endless storylines surrounding their interests. Still, there is space for many of our favs to showcase their personal lives for the cameras.

Several artists have flourished in the television lane. Rapper T.I. and wife Tiny had a successful run of “The Family Hustle” for six seasons. Kandi Burruss, Trey Songz, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, Saucy Santana, and Toni Braxton are just a handful of performers who also went this route. In the age of social media, some celebrities prefer to use their platforms to showcase their day-to-day happenings.

Nicki Minaj is one of these celebs who has long interacted with her followers and allowed them to see much of her reality. As one of rap’s biggest names, she continues to give Barbz a front-row seat to her many career moves. However, what if Nicki had a weekly docuseries-type show displaying the GagCity creator as a mother, wife, musician, and businesswoman? Although a longshot, fans would undoubtedly tune in to the Onika Show for their regular dose of drama, and she’s not the only star we’d love to witness on our televisions.

Boosie

For years, there were rumblings about Boosie getting his own television series based on life with his children. Unfortunately, it seems that his gay comments put a permanent halt to the production.

Drake

Drake is another elusive figure who doesn’t often give up much of his privacy.  Still, it would be a pleasant surprise to observe Drizzy over a string of episodes. Fans would surely tune in to hear his inner thoughts regarding his beef with Kendrick Lamar.

Cardi B

Many of us know Cardi B from reality television before she became hip-hop’s It Girl. She appeared in two seasons of “Love & Hip-Hop New York,” becoming the franchise’s biggest success story. It’s unknown if she’ll ever double back to our TV screens, though she certainly has the experience and supporters.

Beyoncé

We will likely never see Beyoncé on the small screen, as she reportedly does not like filming such shows. Nevertheless, the BeyHive would love to see what the Queen does in her spare time.

Yung Miami

With talks in 2023 of a BET series based on her career and life, Yung Miami seemed poised to become a reality star. However, given the recent Diddy fallout and rumors that his scenes had to be scrapped from the series, it may be on pause for a bit. Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait much longer to see Caresha’s moves.

Rick Ross

Rick Ross is not a complete stranger to reality television. He was previously a judge on the music competition series “Signed.” Since then, Rozay has continued his superstardom and has become a staple online for his hilarious reactions to viral moments. Such a lively personality and massive music career would surely bring the ratings, but only if the price was right for the biggest boss.
