The newly released Bey Keeper Collector’s Box is a handcrafted wooden case designed to store and display a Beyoncé vinyl collection. According to Beyoncé’s official shop, only 500 boxes are being produced, with each one individually numbered. The price is just as specific as the quantity: $948.01.
That price is part of the story. $948.01 is a reference to Beyoncé’s birth date, September 4, 1981. The collector’s box arrived September 4, 2026, as Beyoncé turned 45 and celebrated the 20th anniversary of her second solo album, “B’Day.”
That makes the Beyoncé vinyl box more than an expensive place to keep records. The entire concept connects several pieces of her history at once. The bee imagery speaks directly to the BeyHive, while the launch date connects her personal birthday to the album she deliberately released on that same date two decades earlier.
According to Sony Music Japan, “B’Day” originally arrived on September 4, 2006, Beyoncé’s 25th birthday. Sony also notes that the project became her second album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200. That history makes the 2026 celebration unusually full circle. Beyoncé is not simply revisiting an old era. She is returning to a project whose identity has been connected to her birthday from the beginning.
The Bey Keeper Collector’s Box leans heavily into that symbolism. Per Beyoncé’s official shop, the design takes inspiration from traditional beekeeper crates and is constructed from solid pine wood. It is finished with beeswax oil, lined with deep green velvet and fitted with a faux gator skin leather carrying strap accented by gold hardware. Custom engraved details and an individual number identifying each piece out of the 500 produced complete the design.
The box measures 18 inches wide, 14.75 inches deep, and 14 inches high, according to the official listing. Despite the nearly $950 price, buyers should know they are paying for the collector’s case itself. Beyoncé’s shop states that vinyl records are not included. The item is also listed as a final sale preorder expected to ship November 1, 2026.

The official Beyoncé shop is also offering a “B’Day 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition” on four 180-gram Bayou Blue vinyl records for $149.98. The set includes “Morning Dew (Donk),” Spanish recordings, additional B-sides, a 60-page commemorative booklet, and two collectible double-sided art prints.
The physical deluxe edition contains 27 tracks, bringing material from the original album together with songs including “My First Time,” “Lost Yo Mind,” “Creole,” “Back Up,” and several alternate language recordings.
The anniversary also gives newer listeners a reason to revisit how important “B’Day” became in Beyoncé’s solo career. According to the Recording Academy, the album won Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 2007 Grammy Awards, while “Ring the Alarm” and “Déjà Vu” also earned nominations.
Songs such as “Déjà Vu,” “Get Me Bodied,” “Upgrade U,” “Ring the Alarm,” “Irreplaceable,” and “Freakum Dress” helped establish an era built around live instrumentation, hard percussion, commanding vocals, and relentless energy.
