Big Tigger says his trust level in new people is at an all time low, and he is not dating anybody right now.
The legal part is settled. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute Darian Morgan, the name on his birth certificate, on a felony aggravated battery charge and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree cruelty to children. Sandy Springs police arrested him on June 20, and he bonded out the same day on $10,000. The charges came from a May 9 dispute at the home he shared with his estranged wife, Alicia Brown. According to the arrest affidavit, the argument started over text messages he had received from a female co-worker, and Brown told investigators he used force to move her and shoved her, causing her to stumble headfirst into an office door and take a cut above her left eye that she said required stitches. Morgan denied all of it from the day it surfaced.

When prosecutors decline a case, the document they file is called a declination. It means the district attorney’s office reviewed what police and the accuser brought them and decided it was not going forward. It is not an acquittal, because there was no trial and no jury. It is not a finding that nothing happened. It is prosecutors saying the case as presented to them is not one they will pursue.
Big Tigger says his declination was not the ordinary kind. He described it as a public declination, which he pointed out is not how these usually go, and said the document lays out what happened that day, what was going on in his marriage, and how the two connected. He told people to go look up the district attorney and the reason she declined, saying the whole story is in there.
He also made a point of showing his hands. His Oura Ring is on the left. His wedding band, the one with the diamonds, sits on his right now, and he explained the switch by saying he married the wrong hand because he married the wrong woman. Somebody in the room tried to run with it and he shut it down himself, saying not to hype him up because he was trying to behave and his publicist would get on him.
His read on how the last three months went is that people are going to think what they want to think, because people believe what the [expletive] they believe. He said what saved him was that he has thirty years of his name, his history, and his character on display, and that most people stood by him and represented for him. He thanked those people directly. As for the ones who did not, he said they were never really there for him anyway, so it does not register as a loss. Then he added that he kept notes.
There are, in his words, a lot of people on that list.
None of this untangles the rest of it, and the rest of it is considerable. Brown was arrested July 6 on Interstate 85 in Hart County after deputies found an active felony kidnapping warrant out of Baltimore County, Maryland, tied to the 2019 disappearance of her daughter, who was ten at the time she was reported missing. Two children in the vehicle were recovered safely, including a child she shares with Morgan. The warrant was later recalled and Brown was not prosecuted. She has since filed a federal lawsuit against Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat and his office, arguing the warrant was erroneous, that a protective order granting her custody should have factored into whether there was probable cause, and that her constitutional rights were violated. Her filing also asks the court to look at whether Morgan had access to people in the sheriff’s office around the time she was picked up, and she is seeking records of any communications between him and law enforcement.
Separately, V-103 personality Francesca Amiker filed a federal defamation suit against Brown on June 30, alleging Brown made or directed social media posts falsely claiming Amiker had an affair with Morgan and that the relationship is how she got her job.
Big Tigger stepped away from The Big Tigger Morning Show in July, saying he wanted to focus on family and let his legal team work. He has not said when he is going back.
