Big Tigger has been denying every allegation since his wife’s claims went viral, but the Ring camera footage that just dropped is telling a very different story. The security video from inside the couple’s Georgia home is now public, and even though the former BET Rap City host and V-103 morning show personality was already arrested days ago, it is this newly surfaced footage that has the internet locked back in on the case.
According to TMZ, which obtained the video, the Ring camera captured part of the alleged May 9 incident between Big Tigger, born Darian Morgan, and his wife Alicia Brown. In the clip you can hear Alicia telling someone to take a picture, and then he approaches her, takes hold of her, and tells her to stop. The two struggle as she repeatedly yells get off of me. He then moves her toward a corner of the room, behind a door and out of the camera’s view, where there is a loud noise followed by what sounds like her crying. The worst of it plays out off screen, but what is captured on camera is hard to watch.
The reason this footage matters so much is simple. Big Tigger has publicly insisted he is innocent, saying he unequivocally denies every allegation made against him and pointing to a career built over decades on community and relationships. A statement is one thing. Video is another. Now that the security clip is circulating, his denial is colliding with footage that appears to show a physical struggle, and that is a much harder thing to talk your way around in the court of public opinion or an actual courtroom.
For anyone just catching up, this all started in early June, when Alicia Brown posted a graphic video of herself in tears, showing a badly bruised eye and stitches running from her eyebrow toward the middle of her forehead, asking someone to ask her husband why her face looked like that. She tagged Big Tigger’s V-103 morning show partner Francesca Amiker, tying the situation to both alleged abuse and an alleged relationship between the two coworkers. Alicia later told investigators the argument started after she confronted him over text messages with a woman he worked with, that he called her a psycho, and that he shoved her into a door, opening a cut above her eye deep enough to need stitches. Medical staff reportedly alerted police when she came in for treatment.
By the time the footage surfaced, the case against him was already serious. Big Tigger was arrested on June 20 on charges of aggravated assault and third degree cruelty to children, the child count tied to the fact that the couple’s young son was home during the alleged incident. He was released after posting surety bonds totaling ten thousand dollars. Then on June 24, a Fulton County judge granted Alicia a temporary protective order and directed him to stay at least 200 yards away from her and their children with no contact. In Georgia, these are not throwaway charges, with aggravated battery alone carrying up to twenty years.
Francesca Amiker has denied the affair allegations, and she and Big Tigger addressed the situation on air. So even with the video out, he is still contesting the accusations, and he has not been convicted of anything. The legal process is the legal process, and he is entitled to it.
Alicia has signaled she is not done talking either. In a message shared in late June, she said the past few weeks had been difficult, pushed back on what she called false narratives, and took full responsibility for posting the video of her injuries. She said the lack of accountability and acknowledgement had weighed on her, and asked people to be patient while she works with her legal team to decide how she wants to tell her side in full.
What keeps this story so heavy is who Big Tigger is. For a lot of us, he is a voice we grew up with, from Rap City to morning drive radio in Atlanta, a familiar fixture in Black media for more than thirty years. Watching that same person get arrested, get ordered away from his own family, and now end up attached to footage like this is the kind of thing that makes a whole timeline go quiet.
A denial can be argued. A loud noise behind a door, a woman yelling get off of me, and stitches across her face are harder to spin. With the arrest, the charges, the protective order, and now this video all on the record, the questions facing one of Atlanta’s most familiar voices are only getting louder, and this is nowhere near over.

BULLshhh. The video shows a struggle and that’s all. He grabs her first, but she grabs what appears to be his before he ever grabs her. He is struggling to remove her from the room she is struggling to get loose. What i see is her getting loose from him as they got to that entrance. I’d like to see the rest of the video. But you can’t put it all on him.
