Angela White, recently known as Blac Chyna, is opening up about her co-parenting relationships with both Tyga and Rob Kardashian.
While promoting her new biopic, “Pardon Me,” she told PEOPLE that the key to progress has been knowing when to step back.
“My co-parenting with Rob is 100 percent amazing,” she shared, adding encouragement for parents still struggling. “For parents that’s going through it right now, I promise you, things do get better.”
The mother of two has been through years of public custody disputes, but she believes that peace came once she began keeping a firm boundary between her personal life and the other parent’s household.
“If you’re going through a custody battle or anything of the sort, I think the main thing for the other parent is to mind their own business,” she said.
White explained that tension often starts when parents assume they know what is going on in the other home.
“Sometimes we’ll look in and we might think that we know what the other parent is doing, but it could be the total opposite thing. So, now you’re having an uproar when it has nothing to do with nothing.”
She pointed out that constant speculation can be exhausting.
“Imagine if I’m over here, I wonder, this is probably happening over there. I would probably be miserable and going crazy. But I think mind your own business and then have good communication skills. But I mean if you’re already in a custody battle, that might be hard.”
Her advice is straightforward. “Mind your own business. I’m sticking with that.”
As you know, White shares her 12-year-old son, King Cairo, with her former fiancé Tyga, and her 8-year-old daughter, Dream, with ex-fiancé Rob. As for her co-parenting relationship with the rapper, Chyna says, “Oh, me and Tyga, we co-parent perfectly. Everybody is, like, Kumbaya.”
Her relationship with Tyga ended in 2014, and her engagement to Kardashian came to a public end in 2017.
Thankfully, both co-parenting relationships are stable and respectful, with 50/50 shared custody arrangements in place for both children.
