Blac Chyna has won another victory in her court battle against Kris Jenner and the Kardashians.
Lynne Ciani, the attorney representing Chyna, revealed to Page Six that a California appeals court ruled that the influencer has the right to a jury trial in her defamation and intentional interference with contract case. The case is in regards to her former E! reality show, “Rob & Chyna,” which documented the relationship with ex-fiance Rob Kardashian. Three appellate judges sided with the trial judge’s ruling that the 32-year-old had submitted “substantial evidence” to support her claims against Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner. This evidence backs up Chyna’s allegation that Jenner lied about Chyna beating up Rob. Jenner used this false claim to have the series canceled. In October 2020, a judge denied the Kardashians’ motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
“Chyna also proved that, although Kris Jenner was the ringleader for the plot to get Season 2 of ‘Rob & Chyna’ canceled, Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner each separately defamed and intentionally interfered with Chyna’s contract for Season 2 — so all three daughters face a trial by jury for their illegal conduct against Chyna,” Ciani said.
The trial is set to kick off on November 29th, 2021, with Chyna reportedly seeking “millions of dollars” in damages. The model also has a separate jury trial against Rob for posting revenge porn in July 2017 during their bitter feud. That trial will also begin in late November 2021.
Rob’s attorney, Marty Singer, shot back at Chyna, stating that her claims are “without merit.”
Back in December, a judge ruled that Bunim/Murray Productions, the company behind “Rob & Chyna,” must hand over unaired footage of the second season that never aired.
