The cast of VH1's Black Ink Crew made noise outside of the cameras on Sunday, September 7, 2014, after attending a New York Fashion Week event. According to The YBF and Gossip On This, a street fight broke out afterward involving cast members Ceaser and Dutchess on one side and castmate Puma and his wife, Quani, on the other.
Dutchess posted a video to Instagram claiming she and Ceaser were jumped. She later deleted that video but kept another that shows part of the scuffle. In her caption she thanked friends for pulling people off her and said the other side started it. Ceaser also posted online, saying he walked away without scratches or bruises and that the other side needed numbers to get the better of him.
Additional footage that surfaced online appears to show Ceaser on the ground tussling with a group of men, while Puma is seen nearby. The YBF reported that Puma ran up holding a bottle but reportedly did not hit anyone. Unnamed sources told the outlet that someone, possibly Dutchess, was taken to the hospital, though that has not been confirmed. The grainy videos make it hard to say exactly who was involved in each moment.
There were no VH1 cameras rolling, so this fight was not filmed for the show. The cast was in the middle of shooting season three at the time. Puma and Quani had not publicly responded to the claims when this story was published.
The tension between the castmates has been well documented, with the feud tied to the relationship between Ceaser and Dutchess and the falling out with Puma that followed. Baller Alert will keep you posted if anyone involved speaks out.
