The Marathon continues, now with smash burgers.
Blacc Sam, Nipsey Hussle’s brother, is taking the Marathon brand to the next level with a new burger joint in Los Angeles.
Marathon Burger officially opens March 1 on Melrose and Gardner, just a short walk from The Marathon Clothing store.
The restaurant will serve smash burgers, and the dining room will feature images of Nipsey to keep his presence alive.
To celebrate the grand opening on Saturday, the first 100 customers eat free.
This isn’t the first time the Marathon brand has stepped into food. Marathon Burger first popped up last October, serving burgers and chicken sandwiches. But now, it’s here to stay.
Nipsey started The Marathon brand in 2010, and since his tragic passing in 2019, his family and estate have carried it forward.
