The phrase “You can’t handle the truth” has never been more accurate than today. Scandal star Columbus Short may be the epitome of calm on screen, but off camera the actor has a hot temper. Just weeks after beating a man to a bloody pulp in a bar fight, and allegedly beating his wife Tuere a week prior to that, Short is being accused of threatening his wife with a murder/suicide.
According to a recent restraining order the incident happened at the couples home on April 7th when a drunken Columbus Short entered his wife’s room demanding an impromptu game of “Truth or Truth”, a game popularized by Joe Budden on his JoeBudden TV web series, similar to Truth or Dare, where telling the truth and nothing but the truth is the only option. Columbus began naming men he believed she was having affairs with and said that if she lied, he would stab her in the leg. Short’s wife denied everyone named but that wasn’t good enough. He then allegedly put the knife to her throat and threatened murder/suicide. She also says that he pinned her to the couch and choked her. She escaped, but not without him slashing her tires. Short has been ordered to move out of the house and authorities were on hand to make sure he did.
But Harrison couldn’t do any of this to B613, though?
In all seriousness, I need Tuere to stop taking him back. Even after the February incident where he beat her in front of their children and she filed a restraining order, why did she let him back in? It’s obvious Columbus Short is crazy and has no qualms when it comes to killing her. I hope she stands by the restraining order and some good old common sense this time because this is truly ridiculous.
