As Cardi B continues her takeover with her record-breaking hits and her iconic fashion brand collaborations, the Bronx-bred rap star is now taking her talents to the sneaker business with a brand new partnership with Reebok Classics.
Despite Cardi’s recent catapult to success, the collaboration has been decades in the making, as the classic sneaker brand has been waiting to create with their ideal collaborator.
With its longstanding mission to create products and marketing programs that reflect the brand’s unlimited creative potential and its courage to challenge convention, the brand wanted nothing more than to stand behind someone who, too, stands on their own and takes risk, and for Reebok, it was Cardi B.
“She’s a mother, a style Icon, a pop culture magnet and – above all else – a fearless individual,” a Reebok Rep said in a Press Release. “She’s broken every mold that superstars are supports to fit into- and she’s reached the top by following nobody’s path but her own.”
