Blueface is offering a revealing explanation for why he believes he has never been able to completely close the door on Chrisean Rock, and once again, permanent ink is at the center of the conversation.

During a recent livestream, Blueface pointed to the Chrisean Rock tattoos dedicated to him as evidence of what he sees as an unusually deep level of commitment. While speaking directly to viewers, he said Rock repeatedly putting his likeness on her body has affected how he looks at their connection.
“For me personally, chat, this young lady has had my face tatted maybe four times. For me to end up with someone who has another person’s face tatted on her body, it bothers me.”
Blueface’s estimate of four face tattoos appears to be his own count and has not been independently confirmed. However, Rock’s history of getting tattoos dedicated to the rapper is extensively documented. Rock had seven Blueface-related tattoos by 2023, including two detailed portraits of him on her throat and neck. In January 2024, Rock revealed another massive portrait of Blueface across the side of her face.
The tattoo history has changed over time. In December 2023, Rock covered one of her Blueface neck portraits with a large rose as she talked about starting a new chapter. Then, in December 2025, she began laser treatment to remove the large Blueface portrait from her face. The removal process happened while Blueface was publicly celebrating a different tattoo, one his then-girlfriend Nevaeh Akira had gotten of his government name, Johnathan, beneath her chin.
That history makes Blueface’s newest comments more notable because tattoos also became a major issue in his relationship with Nevaeh.
In September 2026, Blueface and Nevaeh publicly split shortly after welcoming a son together. Blueface said he discovered that a tattoo Nevaeh had previously represented to him as being his face was actually a portrait of rapper NBA YoungBoy. Blueface said Nevaeh had gotten the tattoo while he was incarcerated and that the discovery damaged his trust in her.
Nevaeh acknowledged lying to Blueface about the NBA YoungBoy portrait and had since covered the tattoo. However, Blueface made clear during the breakup conversation that his problem was bigger than simply having another rapper’s face on her body. He said the issue centered on how she responded after he learned the truth and whether he could trust her account of what happened. Nevaeh later apologized for the deception and said she hoped they could eventually develop a healthy co-parenting relationship.
Now, less than a month after that breakup, Blueface and Rock are publicly close again. On October 2, Rock had moved back into Blueface’s home and appeared alongside him during an emotional livestream in which the pair kissed and spoke about their bond.
For Blueface, tattoos appear to represent more than body art. His latest comments suggest he views them as visible proof of loyalty, even as Rock has covered and begun removing some of the very tattoos he now points to when explaining why he continues finding his way back to her.
