The Los Angeles rapper catapulted to the forefront of rap with his viral single Thotiana, which later received a standout remix from Cardi B and YG. Since then, he’s released banger after banger and swooned the world with his charismatic, fun, unapologetic personality.
In a recent interview with Baller Alert, Blueface stopped by the Kandypens house in the hills for our latest episode of Sesh w/ Shirley, sparking Gas Co LA weed.
During the sit-down, he talked about shooting “Obama” with Da Baby, being sick of Thotiana, his relationship with Birdman, and more.
When asked how he and his mom were doing despite their public dispute, he said, “We’re good. Better than you think.”
Elsewhere, he opened up about being the face of Cash Money West, saying, “it feels great. [laughs] Not too many artists… it works out. Get what I want.”
Blueface also shared his thoughts on the recent incident where DaBaby slapped a female for putting her phone in his face, saying, “shit, that was a little extreme. Probably would have stiff-armed her too. I’ll probably have somebody in the way. When I walk out, I have people surrounding me.”
