Bobby Shmurda and members of his GS9 crew were reportedly arrested at Quad Studios in New York City on Wednesday, December 17, according to reports from Vibe, MTV and The Fader.
Vibe reported, citing its source, that numerous weapons were seized at the time of the arrests. Music executive Sha Money XL was also reported to have been taken into custody. Details about the charges had not been fully released when the first reports came out, and no one involved had publicly responded to the reports.
The reports come after Bobby and members of his crew were arrested in August on a gun possession charge, which makes this the second time this year that the rapper has been in the headlines for a run in with police.
Baller Alert will update this story as official information becomes available. An arrest is not a conviction, and everyone involved is presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
