Boosie just can’t seem to stay away from the judicial system.
Approximately two weeks ago, Boosie’s gun case was dismissed, and he was officially off house arrest. Things were beginning to turn positive for the Louisiana rapper until a recent turn of events. Boosie is now facing possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon in interstate commerce charges, as well as possessing a firearm while using a controlled substance charge.
The new indictment shows that prosecutors are moving swiftly in their efforts against Boosie and are aiming to seize “all firearms and ammunition involved in the commission of the offenses.” Nevertheless, if Boosie is convicted, he could face a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
But, of course, this did not sit well with Boosie, who went on a rant on X (formerly known as Twitter) to call the prosecutors “racist” since they waited until his case was dismissed to charge him.
“IM ON VACATION WITH MY FAMILY MY LAWYER CALL ME N SAY THIS FEDERAL PROSECUTOR M. WHEAT HAS INDICTED ME AGAIN ON THE SAME CHARGE N ADDED A CHARGE THAT I WAS A DRUG ATTACK AROUND. A ATTACK AROUND A FIREARM SMH,” he wrote. “WHY YOU DIDNT CHARGE ME WITH THAT THE FIRST TIME? THE JUDGE HAS RULED. AT THIS POINT YOU MAKING THIS A CIRCUS. THIS HAS TO BE UNCONSTITUTIONAL. THIS SHOWS HOW FAR THESE DEVILS WILL GO TO TRY N STOP A SUCCESSFUL BLACK MAN WITH a VOICE .THIS MAN HAS A SERIOUS VENDETTA OF HATE AGAINST ME .HE WANTS TO BE A CHARACTER N A [movie] HE JUST DOESNT RESPECT THE COURTS.”
He continued, HE RACIST N HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE COURTSIF I WASNT BOOSIE THIS WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO ME .THIS SAME MAN LOOKED AT ME SAID “WIPE ME DOWN” ON MY FIRST COURT APPEARANCE lol HES OBSESSED.”IVE NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE THIS N MY DAM LIFE. 30 of us ON VACATION N I GET THIS NEWS HE PUT HIS HARDEST BATTLES ON HIS STRONGEST SOUJAS “GOD GOT ME “. Boosie’s gun case dates back to June 2023, when he was arrested in San Diego while leaving a courtroom, shortly after having another gun case dismissed. Initially, prosecutors wanted to keep Boosie in custody until his trial but he was released on a bond instead and the charges were later dismissed.
