Boosie is never one to bite his tongue, and his latest vent is taking aim at the critics he claims are simply “hypnotized by hatred.”
The Baton Rouge legend recently hopped on social media to address what he sees as a coordinated “hate train” fueled by nothing but pure envy over the unique level of respect he commands across generations.
According to Boosie, the reason people are constantly going against him is that they can’t handle the sheer amount of love he receives from the streets to the suburbs. “You’re mad because of how much love—you’ve never seen a rapper get this much love,” Boosie claimed, noting that even the biggest names in the game don’t have the same connection with the people. He painted a picture of a world where his face is everywhere, from Instagram feeds to grandma’s house and even into the conversations of the youth. He joked that even the kids are asking their dads why they can’t have a house as fun as Boosie’s, which only adds fuel to the fire for his “hypnotized” haters.
Beyond just the lifestyle, Boosie pointed to his authenticity and his past legal battles as the reason his bond with fans is unbreakable. He stood ten toes down, reminding everyone that he was willing to face the ultimate penalty rather than compromise his principles. “How many rappers you know going to sit on death row and say, ‘Fuck that, I ain’t telling nothing. I’m ready to die. You’re going to have to put that shit in my arm,'” he said, highlighting the contrast between his real-life and others who would be “done” if they spoke from the heart like he does.
The rapper also touched on his independence, claiming that his success is entirely his own without outside interference in his pockets. He believes that those who have seen their own success fade are the ones most bothered by his continued relevance. “You’re mad because I didn’t sell my soul,” he stated, adding that there is simply “no stains” on his name that the critics can use to bring him down.
