Boosie is facing backlash again, and this time, it’s from his own daughter, Poison Ivi.
Last week, she called him out for constantly discussing her sexuality in interviews. She even revealed that he referred to her as “contaminating” her siblings and used a slur against her in private.
After the backlash, Boosie took to Instagram, sharing a series of throwback photos of him and his daughter over the years with a heartfelt caption: “NEVER MEANT TO HURT YOU,” followed by a heartbroken emoji and “DADDY BBY #Iloveu.”
He then shared more pictures of him and Poison Ivi, saying, “We good” and “GOD GOT US.” Boosie also dropped a couple of messages to defend himself, stating, “Yall won’t make Me look like a bad father,” and “I love all my kids and I’m a good father.” Another message read, “What is understood doesn’t need to be said.”
It’s clear Boosie loves his kids, and they love him too, but maybe it’s time for him to choose his words more carefully.
His love is obvious, but he’s got to be mindful of his children’s feelings.
