Boosie

Boosie is continuing his rampage against his artist-turned-enemy, Yung Bleu, who allegedly cut him out of a deal with Empire Records.

The “Set It Off” rapper, who has a distribution deal with Empire, has been vocal for over a year about his brother, Taquari Hatch, forging his signature during a meeting with the company, which allowed them to sign Bleu to a record deal. The issue with that agreement is that Bleu was previously signed to Boosie’s Vandross Music Group. When he left in 2019 to sign with Empire, Boosie was entitled to money as part of that signing, which made Bleu about $9 million. Earlier this month, Boosie slammed Empire CEO Ghazi Shami for refusing to text him back for months until the threat of another lawsuit emerged.

On Friday, Boosie once again slammed Shami, Bleu, and his brother, demanding they pay him the $10 million he believes he is owed. In an Instagram video, he pleaded with the trio to “do the right thing.”

“I TOLD @bleuvandross WHAT ILL TAKE ‼️ WHAT’S THE DAM PROBLEM ‼️@ghazi,” he wrote in the caption.

Bleu has remained tightlipped for the most part. Boosie shared in July 2022 that his former signee offered him $2 million from the deal, but he turned it down. Shortly after, Bleu fired back, accusing Vlad of ruining his relationship with Boosie.

Their issue remains unresolved with no signs of slowing up.
