A Star Is Born is now the highest grossing musician-starring film of all-time.

“A Star is Born” which stars singer-songwriter Lady Gaga and actor Bradley Cooper is the latest remake of the 1937 film, which is now the highest grossing musician-starring film in global box-office history.

According to data from Box Office Mojo, “A Star Is Born” has earned a whopping $413.6 million globally, beating out “The Bodyguard” which featured icon #WhitneyHouston and earned $411 million. The film, which was Cooper’s directorial debut, is still in theaters and just gained several Oscar nominations, which is sure to boost its current numbers even higher. However, the stats do not include inflation:  $411 million from 1992 would be worth about $735.6 million in 2019, Uproxx reports.

A Star Is Born’s soundtrack song, “Shallow” also earned a Golden Globe for Best Original Song, and Gaga and Cooper both became the first people ever to be nominated for Best Actress/Actor and Best Original Song at the Oscars in the same year.

While “A Star Is Born” has a few more mountains to climb before surpassing “The Bodyguard” musically, it’s still off to an amazing start. Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and “I Have Nothing” have become staples in the music industry, and the soundtrack is the best-selling one of all time, with over 45 million copies sold worldwide.

Congrats Bradley and Gaga!
