Brandon Jennings took to Twitter to set the record straight about his love life. The 24 year old NBA player tweeted that he has been single since he was 21 and that his new romance is his first public real relationship.
“I’m finally happy, she’s helping me grow,” Jennings wrote. “What more can I ask for?”
Jennings and singer Teyana reportedly dated around 2010 and 2011. At the time, there were rumors that the two were engaged, but neither of them ever confirmed or denied it. Early last year, fans speculated that they had reconnected based on posts on social media, but nothing was ever confirmed.
Based on his tweets, Jennings does not seem to count those earlier relationships as real ones. As of now, Teyana has not publicly responded.
