A woman has filed a police complaint accusing NFL receiver Brandon Marshall of punching her in the face outside a Manhattan nightclub.
According to reports, the woman went to police Monday evening and said Marshall hit her outside Marquee shortly before 4 a.m. Marshall has not been charged, and police are looking into the complaint.
The timing is not great for Marshall, who was just traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Chicago Bears. He has not commented publicly on the accusation.
This isn’t the first time his personal life has made headlines. Last year, his wife was accused of stabbing him during an argument at their home in Florida, though the charges against her were later dropped.
For now, it’s one woman’s complaint, and it will be up to police to sort out what happened outside the club.
