Katie Price, a British model and TV personality, wants to ensure that her son will experience sex when he’s 18 so she’s considering getting him a prostitute. Harvey, who is 15 years old, has autism. He also suffers from diabetes, partial blindness and Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized by delayed development and an insatiable appetite.
Price recently appeared on an episode of UK talk show, Loose Women, where she says that although Harvey has high functioning autism, she doesn’t want him to be deprived of sex when he’s older so she’s considered getting him a prostitute on his 18th birthday.
“Harvey is 15 now. Naturally, at 15 you go through puberty and it’s natural to experiment with yourself,” Price said.
When talking about sex, Price adds, “He hasn’t got a clue about that side. What do you do, do I leave it?”
“I think you wait and see if he’s angst ridden about it and if it’s an issue for him,” Kathy Lette, a fellow mom to a child on the spectrum, advised.
Harvey’s father is former soccer player Dwight Yorke. Earlier this year Price slammed Yorke, calling him a “dick” and saying that he hasn’t seen his son in 10 years.
Price caught a lot of flack for her comments about buying her son a hooker, but that wouldn’t be the first time she’s been under fire over her parenting. Earlier this week she was criticized for letting her husband Kieran Hayler “honk” her breasts in front of their children on her reality show, My Crazy Life. In other scenes, she referred to her kids as “dickheads” after forgetting their ages and showed her 2-year-old daughter topless modeling photos of herself.
