After two years of going missing, Connerjack Oswalt, 19, was found safe in Park City, Utah, according to KTLA.
In September 2019, his family reported the 16-year-olds disappearance to police. Eight years prior, he had been diagnosed with autism and had a history of running away from home.
Recently, reports have come in about a young man sleeping in front of a store and pushing a shopping cart in Summit County. Eventually, authorities approached the man and offered him a ride in their vehicle if he wanted to warm up. He agreed; however, he refused to give his name, which prompted officers to conduct a finger scan.
When police discovered that the teen had a warrant out of Nevada, they proceeded to search the database of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and found what they thought was a match.
As it turns out, there had been a dispute over the spelling of his name, so authorities reached out to his family for confirmation. Gerald Flint, his stepfather, drove straight from the family’s new home in Idaho to Summit County, Utah, to try and confirm that he was indeed their son.

“We’ve had a lot of false hope over the last two and half years,” Flint told FOX 13. “Honestly, I’m still amazed by the whole situation. To find him alive is incredible.”
