Cardi B posted a portion of the “Ah Ha” music video to Instagram on Friday, and she shot the whole thing inside a hair salon. The clip passed 1.6 million likes fast, and it landed the same day the single arrived on streaming at midnight.

The look is the first thing you notice. Cardi is in a bright pink pixie cut with yellow highlights, a yellow bikini top with matching bottoms, long turquoise nails, heels and stacked jewelry, with her floral tattoo work on full display. The record itself is her first solo release of 2026 and her first new music since Am I the Drama?, her second album, which came out in September 2025 and topped the Billboard 200. DJ SwanQo produced it, the same producer behind “Up” and “Get Up 10,” and it went out through Atlantic. She also released clean, slowed down, sped up and instrumental versions the same day.
Lyrically she is doing what she does when people have been in her business. The song is aimed at critics who, in her framing, want her to care about them so badly. She also worked a Trump line into it, rapping that the black trucks at the club look like Trump before adding two more words on the end that made the point unmistakable.
The full video has not been released yet.
