The timeline was in a complete uproar after Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama concert in Houston this past Wednesday. Things got interesting when Nicki Minaj’s little sister, Ming, was spotted in the crowd. Social media immediately caught wind of it, with people calling the move messy and accusing Ming of being the oops for showing up at the show.
After days of fans speculating, Cardi hopped on X Spaces Friday to shut down the noise. Instead of feeding into the back-and-forth, she kept it surprisingly mellow, making it clear she isn’t interested in beefing with a teenager.
“Um I did I just saw the chatter from yesterday. It was pretty loud but I don’t even you know what? I don’t even know what to say about that. You know what I’m saying? I don’t even know what to say. Like guidance. She’s a young girl issue. I don’t want to play nobody in their face and try to be funny if they’re not on that type of timing. It just doesn’t get you nowhere. I feel like kindness—and now kindness not being petty because I’m not even on that petty timing neither. Like life right now is so beautiful. Being kind has taken me.”
“I don’t want to play nobody in their face in person and stuff. Plus I’m not gonna be beefing and doing the most with somebody that I don’t know. They’re 19 years old, 18 years old. I just too grown for that. And I’m too… I feel like I don’t want to play it close though, you know what I’m saying? I don’t wanna be involved in none of that drama. I don’t wanna be involved with nothing.”
Cardi wrapped up by showing a bit of grace toward the situation, adding, “I don’t think that girl’s on drama time. She’s a young kid. Young kids, they need guidance. They need… I don’t know what they’re looking for. Unfortunately, I can’t give it because it’s just too much.”
It’s clear Cardi is standing ten toes down on her peace and isn’t letting the internet bait her into a back-and-forth. By keeping it 100 about Ming being a young girl who just needs guidance, she effectively deaded the narrative that there was any real smoke behind the appearance.
