Less than a month after #CardiB took to Instagram to announce her split from husband and baby daddy, #Offset, it appears the Bronx-bred rap star may be looking to let her estranged husband take another dip in her lady pond, for good.
After bringing in the New Year with her team, making that shmoney in Australia, the Spicy Mami took to Instagram Live to speak some positivity into her life for the New Year. In fact, Cardi even opened up about the current state of her love life and revealed her hopes for the future regarding her split with Offset.
“I’m excited to see about how my love life is,” Cardi said on Tuesday, according to @Bossipofficial. “I’m still not wearing a (wedding ring on my) finger, but I would love to work things out and everything.”
“There’s a lot of things that I feel like I can’t do, (but) motherf*cker (Offset) is like, ‘You can do everything and anything’ all the time. I never had nobody push me like that,” she continued. “It’s really good for me now to have somebody that just motivates me and lets me know every day like, ‘You can do anything, you just gotta set your mind (to it).”
“Now I be more involved in my business,” Cardi continued of her estranged husband. “THat’s something that I got taught with my partner, that’s why I really appreciate my baby father a lot. Even though we go through a lot of shit, but (he’s) definitely made me a better person, a wiser person.”
Cardi’s revelation comes just weeks after the Hot Tamale was spotted in Puerto Rico with her baby father. Although she maintained the two were still split, she did say she let Offset drop that d*ck off. But now, it appears she’s considering a true reconciliation in the new year.
