Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson, also known as Ochocinco, has acknowledged in court documents that he is the father of a seventh child, according to The Blast.
The Blast reports that a woman named Alexia filed a suit against Johnson last year, saying he is the father of her baby girl. She asked for child support, medical fees and legal fees. Johnson did not respond to the suit at first.
As a result, a judge awarded Alexia temporary child support along with an additional $5,000 for legal fees. Since then, Johnson has appeared in court to settle the paternity dispute.
In new court documents obtained by The Blast, Johnson admits to a relationship with Alexia and accepts responsibility for the child. He is asking a judge to set a fixed amount of child support and says he should not have to pay retroactive support. He also wants the judge to toss her request that he pay medical and legal fees, saying those costs should be split.
