Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson Admits He’s in the “Doghouse” Following Split from Sharelle Rosado [Video]

Former NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson seems to be taking his split from realtor Sharelle Rosado extremely hard.

During Wednesday’s episode of the “Nightcap” podcast, he found himself reluctant to dive into relationship discussions following his recent public split from the “Selling Sunset” star. The episode aired after Rosado confirmed their breakup, writing on Twitter, “Chad and I are no longer together please stop tagging us. He is a free man, ladies.”

When co-host Shannon Sharpe brought up Rosado, Johnson was noticeably shaken. Sharpe, sensing his discomfort, joked, “You look like you’re in a dungeon or a basement.” Johnson corrected him, explaining that he was actually in Houston for a day party.  Sharpe responded, “I’d been on a flight back trying to fix that,” suggesting that Johnson hurry home to try and get his woman back. Johnson then revealed he’s been blocked by his former fiance.

The couple had been engaged since January 2023.  They share one daughter together, and it appeared the pair were inseparable.  However, it seems Rosado is no longer interested in being with him. Still, Johnson is holding out hope for reconciliation, enlisting Sharpe as a potential “moderator” between him and Rosado, though the 46-year-old shared that he would allow some time to pass before attempting a reconciliation.

“I’m in the doghouse right now,” he admitted, adding that it would take “the hand of God” to repair the broken union.
