Former WNBA star Chamique Holdsclaw has been indicted in Atlanta in connection with an incident last November involving the car of her ex girlfriend, Tulsa Shock player Jennifer Lacy. Reports said no one was injured.
Holdsclaw is charged with six counts: two counts of aggravated assault, one count of criminal damage in the first degree, two counts of criminal damage in the second degree, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Reports said she could face up to 65 years in prison if convicted. She has not been convicted of anything.
Her attorney, Edward Garland, said Holdsclaw and Lacy are still friends and are working to resolve the case out of court. He also said Holdsclaw did not use a gun to threaten or assault Lacy, or do so with a baseball bat.
