Cher is standing beside her boo, Alexander “AE” Edwards, following his viral Cannes brawl.
The “Believe” star took to Twitter on Saturday to address her boyfriend’s viral fight. The altercation also involved his friend Tyga, who seemingly had an issue with Travis Scott and producer Southside. According to Cher, her man did nothing wrong.
“I’m Proud of Alexander. He Didn’t Start The fight…Against 2 Men… He finished it, Gotta Love Him,” she tweeted.
Her words somewhat echo that of AE, who told TMZ days after the fight that he was simply defending Tyga. He did not elaborate on what caused the tussle but claimed it was only a “friendly fight,” maintaining that he still had much love for Southside. Many people only speculated that the fight could have been over Kylie Jenner, whom Tyga dated several years ago. The model shares two children with Scott but has reportedly moved on to actor Timothée Chalamet. She has not commented on the matter.
This would not be the first time that Cher has supported her much younger lover. In October 2023, she came to his side when people criticized his looks and their significant age gap.
“Alexander’s got diamond teeth, tattoos, white hair, and he’s way younger. He’s a beautiful man. Also, I think it’s fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!” she told People.
It’s evident that Cher will be sticking beside her man.
