A California mom says her three sons were expelled from their Catholic school in Sacramento after other parents found her page on the subscription platform OnlyFans, according to People and NBC News.
The woman, Crystal, 44, told People that other parents shared images from her page with school leaders and demanded action. “My kids are really good, and all this is doing is hurting them,” she said. “Take me down, that’s fine, but leave my kids out of this.”
Crystal says she and her husband started the page in September 2019 as a way to work on their marriage and have fun together. She says the content is tame and does not include pornography, and that the couple earns well from it. She says she did not expect anyone to subscribe.
She says a father at the school came across her page in July and told his wife, and that word spread. Crystal says a group of parents printed images and sent a packet to the principal, the bishop and the church. She says her family wrote to the superintendent offering to show the page to prove it was not pornographic and never got a reply. She also says she was removed as a class parent.
According to NBC News, the school principal wrote in an email that the family’s “apparent quest for high profile controversy in support of your adult website” conflicted with the school’s values. When asked about the matter, the principal said the school cannot discuss the status or circumstances of any member of its community. Crystal says the school is also changing its handbook to bar parents tied to sites that go against church teaching.
Crystal says her sons were upset but did not know the details, only that their mom is an internet model. She and her husband are now looking at other schools, possibly public school.
“In the year 2021, here we are, trying to bring a woman down for her choices and what she does with her husband,” Crystal said. “If women could just support each other, the world would be such a better place.”
