Chris Bosh was celebrating his 29th birthday with a Moroccan themed dinner and an afterparty at Bamboo Miami, and the night was all smiles inside the club. When he and his wife got home, they reportedly found that thieves had been through the house.
According to CBS Miami and USA Today, about $340,000 worth of watches, rings, handbags and cash was reported stolen from the Miami Heat star’s Miami Beach home on Wednesday night. Police said the theft was reported shortly after midnight on Thursday.
Police said there were no signs of forced entry and that no one in the house reported hearing anything unusual. Bosh’s championship ring was not among the items taken. A police spokesman said officers were interviewing people who had access to the home and checking local pawn shops. No suspects had been named and no arrests had been made at the time.
That is a rough way to end a birthday. We will pass along any updates as police continue to investigate.
